This post is part of a series that began with this entry.

The sluiceway does not exist, as best I can tell.  That makes sense to me, for it, absent maintenance, might become a safety hazard.  I cannot write with certainty that I know where it was, but I have an educated guess.

The tall stone structure on the right is a remnant of the dam.  The photographs also show a stone structure to the left, with a gap separating the two structures.  The low stone wall beside the river also lends credibility to my educated guess.

Downriver slightly one finds more stonework, which includes a low wall and two taller structures.

Foliage obscures these stone structures, from certain perspectives, obviously, but they remain visible.

This site seems likely to have been the location of the sluiceway.  If anyone knows for sure or can provide evidence to the contrary, I am interested in that information.

Notice the wooden beams rising from the ground.  They seem to confirm my hypothesis that these images are of the old sluiceway.

I took these four new photographs this afternoon.

Confirmation of my theory regarding the location of the dam, and therefore the sluiceway, is here.
